Technology is Changing the Way Companies Recruit - Be Digitally Savvy

digital-resumes

I often hear people who say, “I’ve applied to so many jobs through online job sites and I’ve not gotten invited to any interview” or “I’ve manually submitted my résumé to some local companies but I’ve not received any call.” The recruiting world is changing. In today’s world, you have to be more strategic and digitally savvy in your job search.

Technological innovations and digital transformation are both having a huge impact on the way recruiters and hiring managers approach the talent search and the hiring process. They are shifting to digital résumés. So, you need to be Digitally Savvy.

Donate a Project Management or Leadership Book to Africa

Education is the key to Africa’s project management development. We can not produce quality project managers in the future if we do not invest in their today’s education.
So one of the plans of the Project Management for Africa Initiative is to use “education” to help create more awareness, promote and advance the best practice of project management in Africa.

How Do We Plan to Use Education?
You can not achieve anything in education if you do not have good educational resources such as books, journals and other learning materials.

Therefore, the Initiative is seeking for the support of project management organisations around the world who can donate free books and publications on project management and leadership. Our purpose is to freely distribute these books and learning materials to students, teachers and to some attendees of our PM events in Africa.
